Injectables
What Are Injectables?
We offer two forms of injectables at our Orange County office- wrinkle-relaxing injectables and dermal fillers. With wrinkle-relaxing injectables, called neurotoxins, the facial muscles are relaxed, which can help prevent the formation of new wrinkles. With dermal fillers, the injectables add volume and plump the skin by stimulating collagen production. Curious about which injectable is right for you?
What Concerns Can Injectables Target?
Aging
Muscle relaxing injectables can help slow the aging process by relaxing the muscles. When facial movement is reduced, fewer fine lines and wrinkles will form, effectively slowing the aging process.
Wrinkles
Fine lines and wrinkles from overactive facial muscles can distract from the features of your face. Through multiple sessions, neurotoxins can help smooth the appearance of wrinkles.
Lack of Volume
Sunken features can make you appear more tired than you feel. Dermal fillers can help increase the volume in your face by stimulating collagen production.
Thin Lips
Dr. William C. Cohen can use filler to target certain features, such as the lips. When injected into the lips, the filler can make your lips appear fuller and plumper.

Revance RHA
The #1 injectable at our practice, Revance RHA® uses a specially formulated Resilient Hyaluronic Acid that closely resembles the natural hyaluronic acid found in your skin.
Restylane
Restylane® is a filler that uses hyaluronic acid to plump the skin and smooth wrinkles. It has a thicker consistency than some of the fillers we offer which makes it great for building up facial volume.
Sculptra
Rather than using hyaluronic acid to plump the skin, Sculptra® uses poly-L-lactic acid, which stimulates collagen production. Rather than fill in the area that it's injected into, it stimulates collagen to do the work of smoothing and plumping the skin.
JUVÉDERM
Like Restylane, JUVÉDERM™ is a filler that uses hyaluronic acid to plump the skin. It has a smoother and more gel-like feel than Restylane and has slightly more hyaluronic acid in each dose.
Belotero
Belotero is another hyaluronic acid-based filler. Belotero moves and spreads smoothly across the skin for a natural-looking result that's ideal for targeting fine lines.
"Extremely satisfied with Dr. Cohen." More 5-Star Reviews From Our Orange County Patients
Extremely satisfied with Dr Cohen and his entire staff. The nurses are great and the receptionist is awesome as well. Super friendly and knowledgeable, from the initial consultation, to the end of the surgery I received. They worked well with my schedule and also with my insurance.
View on GoogleI had been having an issue with my right ear for a couple years and Dr Cohen was a provider under my insurance plan. I called his office and left a message for a call back. I was called back within 15 minutes. The scheduler was very cheerful and kind.
