Otoplasty (Ear Surgery)

Otoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to reduce the prominence of your ears. Otoplasty can be performed to pin the ears closer to the head and also to reduce the size of disproportionately large ears. The operation can be performed on children after the age of four, when their ears are fully developed. Many children who have had to endure teasing because of the size or shape of their ears find relief after this procedure. While otoplasty is frequently performed on children, adults, too, may benefit from the procedure.
