QuickLift™

If you want to achieve the results of a face lift but do not want to deal with post-surgical recovery that a full face lift may require, a QuickLift™ procedure offered at our Orange County locations may be the right treatment for you. Effective at tightening the skin in the lower portion of the face and the neck, the QuickLift™ procedure is ideal for men and women who want a more youthful appearance without the downtime associated with a traditional face lift.

Performed as a minimally invasive outpatient procedure, the QuickLift™ mini face lift requires about an hour to two to perform, depending on the patient. Incisions are hidden discreetly along the hairline and the ear, allowing the surgeon to adjust and tighten the skin. Special suturing techniques are used to ensure that any visible scarring will be minimal.

Often referred to as the "weekend face lift," the QuickLift™ requires only limited downtime. Patients from throughout Orange County often undergo the QuickLift™ mini face lift procedure on a Friday, visit one of our offices during the weekend for a follow-up appointment, and return to work by Monday or Tuesday. Full Face Lift

A face lift is performed to reverse the effects of age, gravity, exposure to the sun, and daily stress by removing excess fat, tightening facial muscles, and readjusting the facial skin. A full face lift at our two Orange County locations may be performed by itself or in conjunction with other facial procedures, such as a brow lift (forehead lift), eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), or a nose job (rhinoplasty).

Patients from throughout Southern California benefit from our approach to performing face lift procedures, which contrasts sharply with those practices that use a 'cookie-cutter' approach. A face lift is a highly individualized procedure that Dr. Cohen will tailor to your unique bone structure, skin texture, and underlying muscle tone. It is important to remember that a face lift does not improve skin texture, although it can be done in conjunction with procedures that do, such as laser skin treatments or chemical skin peels. A face lift is also an excellent procedure for those with excess skin hanging from the neck or jowls.

Endoscopic Brow Lift

Whereas a QuickLift™ mini face lift targets the lower portion of the face, a brow lift focuses on the forehead. Offered to our patients from throughout Southern California a brow lift is a surgical procedure that smoothes out the skin of the forehead, while raising the upper eyelids and reducing the appearance of frown lines.

At the two locations of THE SKIN CENTERx in Orange County, Dr. Cohen performs brow lift procedures endoscopically. The endoscopic forehead lift is less invasive than traditional brow lift surgery, requiring less recovery time and leaving less noticeable scars than the traditional procedure. By tightening the skin in the brow area, a forehead lift erases many of the effects of aging, leaving you with a smoother, more youthful looking appearance.
