William C. Cohen, D.O., F.A.O.C.O.

Dr. Cohen is a fully accredited and Board Certified surgeon receiving his certification by the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck surgery in 1998.

Dr. Cohen received his Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and he earned his Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from Midwestern University at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.

After completing his General Rotating Internship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan, he successfully fulfilled a year of General Surgery followed by a three-year combined residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery at Bicounty Community Hospital in Warren, Michigan.

In 1996, Dr. Cohen was selected as the Chief Surgical Resident of Bicounty Community Hospital, as well as being the Chief Resident of the Otolaryngology Department from 1995 to 1997. He was awarded “Best Paper” in 1997 for his work “Evaluation of Olfaction after Endoscopic Partial Middle Turbinectomy.” Furthermore, Dr. Cohen has been published in various magazines on multiple topics in the field of Nasal, Sinus, and Plastic Surgery.

Recognized as an innovative and progressive surgeon in the community, Dr. Cohen has become an expert in the art of facial rejuvenation. This continued progress in the field of Plastic and Cosmetic surgery led to the development of THE SKIN CENTERx. Successfully combining his expertise in Facial Plastic Surgery and skin care, Dr. Cohen became the first in Orange County to bring the latest in minimally invasive face lifting techniques, the Quicklift™ procedure. This office based “one-hour face lift” erases up to 10 years in one day allowing a patient to return to daily activities within days.

Dr. Cohen has continually demonstrated his skill and artistry in the field of Facial Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery. He has received additional training in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery from some of the most respected and innovative surgeons in the United States. In 2004, the Consumer’s Research Counsel of America honored Dr. Cohen with receiving prestigious recognition as one of “America’s Top Physicians.”

Specializing in the management of Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery needs of both adults and children, Dr. Cohen utilizes the “holistic” approach to patient care. This methodology considers all aspects of a patient’s condition and its effect on the patient as a whole, rather than focusing specifically on the disease. As a native of Orange County, Dr. Cohen maintains ties in the community where he lives with his wife and children. He is involved in many local programs and charity organizations and gives lectures to community groups and professional societies in the fields of Ear, Nose, and Throat disorders and current modalities in Facial Plastic and Cosmetic surgery.
